During my senior year at Barnard College, I co-authored a publication through Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs examining ethical dilemmas across emerging technology, from AI in healthcare to the digital afterlife.
My article focused on how terms and conditions in digital products exploit dark patterns to manipulate user behavior, and what design, policy, and education-based frameworks might look like in response.
